Splash!

This last card for today is an entry for the challenge at Scrappekammeret. My dear friend Linda made a sketch and of course I had to use it!! I also want to enter it at Sentimental Sundays. A newly found challengeblog, where the challenge this week is to make a playfull card.

This sweet boy is going to the beach and he is taking his sailingboat with him. He and his boat are Ollyfant stamps. The cloud is me drawing a little bit ;-) At the old blog from Inge I read the other day about chalking the shadows around a stamp. I used this technique here on the blue sky and sandy beach.

Do I have to say that I coloured again with my Derwent coloursoft pencils? Nope....

skin: 170-190-620
hair: 530-640
sweater and flag: 130
shorts and boat: 340-310
sail: 450
rope and wood: 530
sand: 580

For the sentiment was not enough room to place it in sight on my card, so I made a tag with my Silhouette, which you can take out. This sentiment is a freebie on Create with TLC

I decorated the inside with some punched circles from the designpaper.

So what do you think of this summerly card? Let me know, OK?!
Thanks again!!

Tro, håp og kjærlighet

"Faith, hope and love", another weddingcard.
This one I liked to enter to the challenge on Double Dutch Challenges

You can almost not see it, but the designpaper has glitter on it. Very beautiful. It is from My Minds Eye. The circle I cut with my Silhouette SD.

I used some lace and red scrappersfloss. On the aquaflowers and the silk roses I put some stickles.

My friend sent this stamped image to me aswell. Tilda and Edwin, they are so sweet don't you think, so in love!

skinn: 170-190-620
cheeks: 200
hair: 570-560-580 + 530 for him
dress: 010
blouse: 710
trousers: 390
roses: 130
shoes: 560

The sentiment is a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad (12B), I borrowed from my mother! You can see her the glitter on the designpaper.

Thanks for your visit!

Today & Always

This first card is for a wedding.  And you know what, I have never done such a card before! So it was time I made one.

I used a sketch I found on Clubs: Scrap en Stempel.

I used purple metalic cardstock and designpaper from Basic Grey.

I folded the ribbon (I saw this on a DT-card somewhere, don't know where anymore) and placed a button with a purple rose on top of it. A little heart and some stickles complets this item.

My friend stamped Tilda for me, so I could use her on my card. (Thanks!!) I coloured her with my Derwent coloursoft pencils of course! The bouquet and the top of her crown has stickles on it.

skin: 170-190-620
cheeks: 200
hair: 530-630
crown: 010
dress: 490-390-410
bouquet: 280-480

The sentiment I made  on my computer and printed out on designpaper. Here you can also see that I used my Martha Stewart punch.

To stamp my personal stamp I took some designpaper and puched the edges again with my MS punch. You can also see the metalic cardstock a little bit beter here.

Tell me what you think!!

Happy birthday!

I made a birthdaycard this time. And want to enter it to the following challenges:

Friday Sketchers: for the sketch of course
Fussy and Fancy: use stitches, scallops and sparkle
The stamp man: anything goes!

I used soft colours in blue and pink, so I can send this card to children of different ages.

For the "charm" I made a string with different colours and shapes beads.
You can also see the handmade stitches very good here and the scallops made with a siccor

For the sentiment I downloaded a freebie from Create with TLC. Downloaded it in my Silhouette software and cut out a tag around it.

Of course I coloured the Cuddly Buddly Crafts named Ellies (also a freebie) with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

350 - 360 - 190 - 200 - 120 - 090 - 440 - 450

With the DCM-tread, I also used for the stitches I made a braid to hold the tag.

Let me know what you think, OK?
Thanks for your visit!

Hello sunshine

Hi everybody! Nice of you to visit me again. I have managed to make another card again. It's not always easy now that the children have vacation. But I did it! And I want to enter my card to the following challenges:

Derwent: making a sunny card with the colour yellow
Just Magnolia: 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 ribbon
Friday Sketchers: using Jacques sketch

Because I didn't have the right colour flowers I painted another blue ones with my denimblue dabber. I assembled them and afterwards sprayed them with lots of glimmermist. On the edge of the stamp I put some stickles. I also used my Martha Stewart punch.

For the sentiment I took a look in my pile of tickets and found these sunny ones. Took of the white of the paper with my antique linnen distress ink and inked the edges again with faded jeans.

This happy girl I coloured with my Derwent colourpencils.

skin: 170-190-620
cheeks: 200
hair: 590-630
dress: 010-030-040
skoes - hairribbon - skippingrope: 300-310
shadow: 670

Between these nice Martha Stewart punch edges I can write my message to whom ever gets this sunny card.

What do you all think of this card? Leave me a message OK? I love to read your comments!!

See you next time!

Hi!

When I saw the sketch on Friday Sketchers, I just had to make a card with it. It was a little bit of a challenge, because there are many layers on it and I'm not really used to that. I wasn't really surprised when I noticed that the sketch was made by Inge. She is a lady who uses very often, multiple layers and I just love it. Go visit her blog and you know what I mean!

Besides the sketch I was free to do what I wanted. Of course I'm always free, but what I mean is, that I didn't follow any other challenges. For the sentiment I used a homemade ticket, inspired by Mirabyll. I made a whole bunch of those just to choose from, whenever I want to.

This stamp I have for quite a while, but never used it before. I bought it secondhand on the internet with a few others from Hänglar & Stänglar. It was the perfect size for my card. I coloured her with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

hair and pots: 530+640
skin: 170+190+200
barrow and sack: 010+490+390
watering can: 690+700
hearts and pocket on trouser suite: 480
grass: 480+490
blouse and shoes: 260
trouser suite: 290

As you can probably see the heart of the white flowers is a buttonflower. I found those with my sewingstuff and thought they would do nicely her.

This particular card does not have a destination yet, but I think it won't be long before I can make someone happy with this one.

Thanks for stopping by and I would love to hear what you think about my card!!

"Gratulerer" in black, white and red

It has been a while, but I have been very busy with birthdayparties, company from the Netherlands and just enjoying the Norwegian summer. But my nephew is turning 14, so I made him this card.

For the sketch I used one of CPS Card sketchers. Sad to say, I was too late for entering the card. But I can still enter my card on the Derwent challenge-blog. The challenge was to colour your stamp with mostly red. I used the following colours:

face: 180 + 620
clothing: 130
shoes: 650
hair: 700 + 660 + 650

OK, the card is going to the Netherlands, but my nephew is trying to learn a little bit of norwegian. So there is a little challenge in the textstamp!!

This teenage boy is perfect for the card, but unfortunately I don't know the name or brand of the stamp. I got it as a gift and there was no text on the pouch what so ever. So if anybody can tell me the name and brand of this fellow, please do!!

A ribbon was not suitable for a boy's card, so I used scrappersfloss in black and red.

On the back placed my stamp with the negative of the circlepunch!

The card is already on its way to the Netherlands. I hope my nephew has a nice birthday and he likes the card !
