A wintermagnolia

Two weeks has past and on the Derwent-challengeblog there is a new challenge going on. You can make whatever you want, but make sure there is a Magnoliastamp on your project.
This is my contribution.

Because it still winter here in Norway, with lots of snow, I thought a wintercard or even christmascard was appropriate.

Two flowers with a snowcrystal in the centre. Can you see them sparkle?

Of course I coloured this Magnolia in with my Derwent coloursoft pencils:

face: 170-190-620
hair: 600-630
coat: 310-680-390-130
gloves and socks: 430
tights: 130
shoes: 630
lantern: 630-360-060

For the back I punched out a piece of white cardstock with my Martha Stewart punch.

Let me know what you think of this card, OK? And if you too colour your stamps with Derwent coloursoft pencils, be sure to visit the Derwent-challengeblog. You can win an amazing prize!
Thanks, see you soon!

My daughter gets a......

On my favorite norwegian forum (good for me to practice my norwegian) the Scrapbook Express, there was a challenge with a sketch. And this is the lay-out I made.

I seriously made use of my Silhouette. I almost cut every piece out. The blue borders, the circles, the bracket, the comb and the siccors.

The sentiment is writen in a stamp, put on a large piece of cardstock.

Aren't these adorable? A little brad holds the siccors togheter.

To emphasize the dots on the dotted swiss cardstock, I randomly coloured them white.

And this little missy has the same haircut as my sweet girl.

I would love to read your comment again!!

Treasure

Over at the Derwent-challengeblog you can feel the sommer! We want you to make a real summercard in the winter. So let the sunshine into you scrappingroom and make a bright summer-ly card!

My mother has this beautiful stamp,Elisabeth Bell's Flowers for Sugar Nellie Stamps.
I coloured her with my Derwent softcolour pencils.

face: 170-190-620
shadow: 360-490
and 340-140-530
460-440-630
090-060-200

This little item I made by stamping "treasure" on a piece of cardstock and wrapping it in a folded strip of blue cardstock.

To decorate the inside a little bit, I used a background stamp (the little dots), a flower and a flowerbrad.

And this is the back of the card, using my Martha Stewart punch on a piece of designpaper.

What do you think, do you feel the summer?
If you're in the mood, just visit the Derwent-challengeblog, make a beautiful summercard and participate in the challenge.

Book-card for my uncle and aunt

Hi you all,

This time I want to show you a nice gift I made for my uncle and aunt. They had their 40-year-weddinganniversary.

I saw this book-card for the first time on Tina's blog. And luckily she made a tutorial for us all. Thank you Tina!

This nice couple is a gift from Nel. Thanks to you too! They are adorable. I colored them of course with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

face: 170-190-620
hair: 600-630
clothes: 580-590-340-330
roses: 100-130-480
air: 360
wall: 610 (by the way, I draw this one)

I made a pocket with a tag for some words to the happy couple. And some romantic candles to enjoy.

Here you can see that it is just like a book. A very precise job, but such a nice detail!

And of course the back of the book.

This was a very nice item to make and not too difficult, thanks (again) to Tina's tutorial.

My uncle and aunt were very pleased with their present. Let me know what you think, OK?!
Love to hear from you!!
