Logbøker for Annika...

Hi everyone!

My daughter Annika had diabetes. For the hospital we have to keep a log of what she is eating qua carbohydrates. 

So I started to make these kind of books for her. 

I print the pages and the frontcover. Afterwards I use my zutter, bind it all to set the book together.

Every other book has its own nice picture on it. 

This one was actually my first stamp, Mo's Superduper Girl, coloured with my Copics

These are the copics I used:

Of course Annika helps me nowadays to decorate her logbooks.

A starbook

In september last year I made a starbook for an unkle and aunt from my husband. Our whole kitchentable was full of scrappingstuff!

Because we couldn't go to their fortieth wedding anniversary, I wanted to make them something special that I could send in the mail. And this starbook was perfect for that.

The front and back of the book were little bit simular with the beautiful textstamp and little stamps around it.

I made 7 pages in the book.

With of course a picture of them from there wedding 40 years ago.

I think a starbook is beautiful in so many angles. And to see the star from above, yeah, really nice!

Of course the book needed a nice wrap. So I decorated a paperbag...

... and made a little card to go with it.

My in-laws were at the weddingparty and gave this gift from us. We heared the bride and groom were very happy to get this starbook. And it was a pleasure to make such a book.

Minneboka for Marianne (gedenkboekje voor Marianne)

Met onze jongste dochter heb ik een tijdje op babyzingen gezeten. Puur om wat noorse liedjes te leren en wat contacten te maken.  En hoewel onze kleinste, de grootste was, was het altijd erg gezellig. We voelden ons prima thuis tussen de baby's en hun mama's. Op een gegeven moment kwam het eind van het seizoen eraan. Om onze lerares, Marianne, een aandenken te geven hebben we met z'n allen een boekje gemaakt. Ik had alles voorbereid, de mama's hoefden alleen 2 bladzijden te vullen met een dankwoordje, leuke anekdotes, een foto en de tekst van de leukste liedjes die ze geleerd hadden. Ik heb alles ingebonden met mijn Bind-it-All en leuk versierd met wat lint en een leuke charm. Marianne was erg blij met haar aandenken!

With our youngest daughter, I joined babysinging for a while. Just to learn some norwegian songs  and to make some contacts. And although our smallest, was the largest, it was always very pleasant. We felt perfectly at home among the babies and their mothers. And then came the end of the season. To give our teacher, Marianne, a souvenir we all made a memorybook. I had everything prepared, the mom's only had to fill 2 pages with a thank-you-note, funny stories, a photo and the text of the nicest songs they had learned. I had bound everything with my Bind-it-All and decorated with some nice ribbon and a nice charm. Marianne was very pleased with her memorybook!
