Small canvases

It's been a while. But I want you to show what I've been up to.

I quit (with pain in my heart) designing for CCWS. I just had no time for it anymore. It was a tough decision, but I made it and in the end it was a good one. I have to say I made just one card since then. I will show it to you later on.

I've been expirimenting with canvases in several sizes. Using my Cameo and heat transfer material, I made 11 canvases.

15 x 15 cm

20 x 20 cm

25 x 25 cm

24 x 30 cm

Well, what do you think? Cute aren't they?

I am going to sell them at a fair. Hopefully they fall into favor :-)

God Jul...CCWS # 81

Hi!

Nice to see you again.
It's been a while, but I was on holiday with my family.
We went to Wales and visited the grandparents in the Netherlands.
It was really fun!!

But I'm back now and I have a Christmas card to show you. We have a new challenge over at CCWS and it was my turn to design a sketch for you. And here is my card :o)

I used white cardstock and designpaper from Marianne Design, Winterworld. With my Cameo I cut out a kind of frame in blue. The little red and white squares were cut out with the Cameo too. That way they are all the same size. I love it! I used foamtape to put them on my card in my blue frame.

The stamp, Stocking Mouse, was given by our sponsor, thanks!! Isn't it a cutie?
I coloured it with my copics:

mouse: E51-00-000
nose: E93
stocking: R59-29-27-24-22
nail: W4-2-0
rags: B97-95-93-91
edge of stocking: frosted lace by stickles

All the other stuff that I used on my card, comes from my stash.

Hi everyone!
It was the turn of the Holiday Fairies again to make you a sample card for the next challenge from Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. And this is my card for you.

From our sponsor Elisabeth Bell, we were given a stamp to work with. Aren't "the little Angels" adorable? You can win them with another stamp, which you can find on the challengeblog. Just make a card with the sketch Lotte made for us and put it in the challengeblog's LinkyTools :o)

I coloured this stamp with copics:

skin: E13-11-00
cheeks: R20
hair: E47-44-43
dress: B97-95-93-91
cloud: C4-2-0-B93
sky: B00-0000
cat and trumpet: E53-51-000
lamp: E47-44-43 / Y15-13-11
stars: Y15-13-11
wreath: E43-53-51-44

The designpapers come from Panduro Design and the brads from Karen Foster Design and Nille.
The sentiment is a North Stars Stamp. And I used my Perlen Pen for some details.

For the twist we want you to use any colour, but no traditional Christmas colours (green and red).

I hope to see many cards on the CCWS-challengeblog.

God Jul til deg fra meg...CCWS #73

Hi everybody, here I am with my new Christmas card for CCWS. It is a little bit later than usuall, but we had some internet-problems out here. I couldn't upload anything anywhere. But I hope that is solved now, after almost 2 weeks and I can show you my card.

Betina made the sketch this week and it's a real cutie to work with. Thanks girl!
All the Holiday Fairies made beautiful cards. Go check out the challenge-blog and give them some credit :o)

Not long ago I ordered some beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. And I used them here on my card. Aren't the adorable? Love them!
The sentiment is from Kreativ Hobby and it says: Merry Christmas to you from me.
The design papers are Panduro's, Tis 'the season.

And what about Tilda showing her Christmas ornaments? I coloured her with Derwent coloring pencils:

skin: 170-190-620
hair: 550-620-610
clothes: 260-270
socks and ornaments: 110-130
shadow: 710
ground: 710-670

I used some tread from Kort & Godt and I got a piece of cheescloth from my dear friend Tove, takk takk!!

Of course we have a sponsor again, giving away a surprise prize :o)

Well I will let you go to our challengeblog now and check out the sketch and other cards made by the Holiday Fairies. Hope to see your card soon :o)

Wishing you....CCWS # 71 with a twist

Hi everybody!

Another two weeks have past, so I have my exemple-card to show you for another challenge over at CCWS. All Holiday Fairies have made beautiful cards again, you can admire those on the challengeblog

This weeks sketch was made by our own Wilma. Actually I made 2 cards for this challenge, because Wilma changed her sketch, when I was just finishing my first card, hihi. So I have an extra card for Christmas this year :o)

We have a twist again and that is to use kraft-paper on your card. So my basic-card is kraft and I layered my stamp on kraft-paper. The designpapers are from Marianne Design, Warm Winter Wishes. Beccy's Place provided me with a nice freebie, Raggedy Angel. He was coloured with Derwent Coloring Pencils:

skin: 170-180-620
cheeks, t-shirt, bow and patch: 190-200
trousers: 610-620
shoes: 530-600-630
hair and cat: 570-560-580
bear: 710-690
ground: 510-530
wings: 010
shadow: 710

We have a somewhat unusual sponsor, namely our own Janneke. She is giving away a surprise prize. So go on over to the CCWS-blog to see what it is. Look at all the beautiful cards from my teamies and check out Wilma's sketch!!

See ya :o)

Sending bear hugs....CCWS # 69

Hello!

Time for another challenge over at CCWS. Wilma K. has made a sketch for us and I simply love it. It is non-complicated, so it is a sketch for everyone. Thanks Wilma!!

The design papers I used are from First Edition Papers, Christmas Joy. Some of them have a little sparkle, like the stars, but it not so visible here.

This beauty is Patches from StampFairy.
The Holiday Faries could choose a digi to work with. Thanks, I love him :o)
He was coloured with copics:

fur: E31-33-35-99
nose: R81-83-85
ornaments: R22-24-27-29
patches: BG10-11-13-15
clouds: C0-2-4
sky: B0000-00

The clouds and the sky were an experiment.
I found this you-tube video from Kit and Clowder and I just had to try it :o)

To dress my card up a little bit, I used a charm from my stash and some twine.

Varme Juleklemmer....CCWS # 65

Hello everybody!

Today starts a new challenge over at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.
This time it was my turn to make a sketch for you all. I thought it maybe challenging to have a different shape, so I designed a kind of tag.

I wanted to be a real card, so I folded a second tag and glued it to the first, front tag.

Our sponsor Bugaboo, provided us with some digi's to work with.
I choose this one called Winter Birds, Friend. Such a sweetie, don't you think?
It was coloured with copics

B14-12-00 and R22-24-27-29

Used a punch from Martha Stewart for the snowflakes and decorated them with Stickles and the Perlen Pen.
The designpapers are from Marianne Design, Winterworld.

Our sponsor for this week is
