Colourblocking.... Caitlin-Elena

Hi everybody!

Lately I have been scrapping more and more for the albums of my children again. This is one of the LO's, telling about the first day home after the birth of Caitlin.

And here are a few details of that LO. I used letters from Nota Bene for her name and to make them even more visible I traced them with a white pen. The C was painted with crackle paint.

The flower was crocheted by my mother and to finish it I put a flower button on top of it.

I love this colourblocking LO!

Let me know what you think, OK?!

Bye for now!!

Warm & Snugly Christmas Wishes...CCWS # 23

Hi!
I cannot believe that it is already two weeks since I posted here. Time flies really... And it is also two weeks since our last challenge at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}! So here is a new one for all of you die-hards that still are making cards for Christmas.

It was my pleasure to be able to make a sketch for you this time. And we have a twist again!!
Only use WHITE!
You can colour your stamp of course, otherwise it would be a little bit dull, don't you think? So now is the chance to use a lot of textures on your card.

I took my cuttlebug and used a lot of my embossingsfolders. I didn't want to ink the edges, so I used stickles and glossy accents. To make the bow I used my Bow Easy.

In the heart of my snowflakes I used my perlen pen. And I just love that netting ribbon!!

This golden oldie was coloured with my Copics again:

skin: E50-51-53
hair: E35-31-Y32
clothes: B97-95-93-91
socks and bow: V95-93-91 and later on: R85-83-81
bench: E47-44-43
rug: Y21-32-E50
shadow: C2

These two weeks we are being sponsored by

So come on and make another Christmas card for your stack. Visit the Christmas Challenges blog and take a look at all the beautiful card the design team made for you as an inspiration.

Hope to see you there!!
Bye bye...

Have a Magical Christmas.......CCWS # 22

 Hi everybody!

Another two weeks has past and it's time for the next challenge at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.
Our Nicolet has made a beautiful sketch for us all. Go and check it out!
But first my card...I used this beautiful paper from Papermania Enchanted Christmas. You don't need much more because it is a whole packet with papers, banners and sentiments. So nice to work with :o)

For some extra bling I added perles with my perlen pen.

This nice little girl (I forgot her name, sorry) was coloured with Copics

skin: E50-51-53
cheeks: E93
hair: E31-33-35
dress: BG 10-11-15-C2
Stickles: burgundy for the stars and crown
frosted lace for the wings

I hope you have been inspired to make a Christmas card again. Visit the challengeblog to find out what our sponsor

has for one of you as a prize.

See you later!!

Hvor skal du?...Where are you going?

Hi everyone!

I want to show you a lay out I've been working on for my daughter's album. We were at a playground when we were on holiday. There were large tractor tires you could climb. My daughter thought they were a lot of fun and again and again she climbed to the top!

For this lay out I used designpapers from Docrafts, Hanoverian Linen Paperpack and white and old pink cardstock. I could use a very nice Martha Stewart punch and some Spellbinders dies that belongs to my dear friend Hilde. Tusen takk, Hilde :o) The big letters are Panduro's and the small ones are from Kaisercraft.

This beautiful swirl is from Prima and the flowers were cut out from the designpapers.
For this lay out I used a sketch from Pagemaps.com. Becky has a contest on her blog and I want to participate in that with this LO.

I hope you let me know what you think of my LO...
And keep your fingers crossed with me, maybe I will be the lucky winner of a beautiful prize package from Webster's Pages :o)

Bye bye!
