Kids

Hi everybody!

This minialbum was made almost a year ago! And I forgot to show you...
It is an album for my parents in law with pictures from our girls :o)

When you open it, you can display it on a table or something.

Seen from above....

Every part has pictures from each granddaughter...

and when it closes, ....

....  the pictures are neatly hidden.

Such a fun little gift, don't you think? My inlaws were very happy with it.
Hope you like it too :o)

Thanks for visiting and see you soon!

Logbøker for Annika...

Hi everyone!

My daughter Annika had diabetes. For the hospital we have to keep a log of what she is eating qua carbohydrates.
So I started to make these kind of books for her.

I print the pages and the frontcover. Afterwards I use my zutter, bind it all to set the book together.
Every other book has its own nice picture on it.
This one was actually my first stamp, Mo's Superduper Girl, coloured with my Copics

These are the copics I used:

skin: E000/50/51
cheeks: E93
hair: E31/33/35
boots and crown: B91/93/95/97
suite: R22/24/27
"S": Y32/35/38
tights: R81/83/85
cape: YG11/13/17

Of course Annika helps me nowadays to decorate her logbooks.
Hope you like them :o)
See you next time!

Filefolderbook (with tutorial)

Hi scrappers!

A little while ago I made this filefolderbook for my neighbour. She turned 70, so I wanted to make something special for her. Browsing on the internet I saw 3 pictures of this book and I started crafting. Because I liked it so much, I decided to make a tutorial for you all.

Start with an A4 – cardstock and cut at 21 x 28 cm.
Score at 14 cm at the short side (therefore in the middle)
and at 2 cm at both the long sides.
On the longer sides, cut half of the scored lines opposite of each other.

Apply tape on the remainder at the long sides

Cut afterwards a corner.
Glue the page together.

Make as many pages as you need following the above (I made 10 pages).
Apply tape at the closed longest side of your pages, except for 1.
Glue the pages together, the inside of your book is ready.

Cut a cardstock at 30 x 18 cm.
Score at 14,5 cm on both short sides, this is the book cover.

Glue the pages between the book cover with wide sticky tape.

I cut out some tabs with my Silhouette.

Glue the pages together with some sticky tape.

You can attach the tabs on the glued area on the pages.

Create a lock by using some ribbon or Velcro.

Attach the other ends of the lock on the backcover.

Cover up with cardstock and designpapers.
Now decorate your book and enjoy!

I colored my Tilda with my Copics:

skin: E50/51/53/93
hair: E31/33/35
shoes: B91/93/95 and 100
dress: R81/83
apron: R83/85
butterfly: Y32/B91/E35
shadow: W2
blender

A little bouquet of flowers and a dragonfly-charm.

and some droplets to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. If you made one, let me know, I would love to hear from you.

For the record, this wasn't my idea. I just made this after have seen a few pictures on the web. So if anyone needs to feel they have to claim it as their own, please let me know and I will give you credit for your design.

I won!!

I have some great news to share. I won this beautiful book...

...by just giving a comment on the Pagemaps blog. Isn't that great!
Thanks Becky, for giving away this beautiful book.
I'm walking on clouds right now
(and we have plenty, the rain is pouring down at the moment)
and there is a big smile on my face!
Can't wait to get more ideas for cards and stuff.

Have a great Sunday (like me)!

Book-card for my uncle and aunt

Hi you all,

This time I want to show you a nice gift I made for my uncle and aunt. They had their 40-year-weddinganniversary.

I saw this book-card for the first time on Tina's blog. And luckily she made a tutorial for us all. Thank you Tina!

This nice couple is a gift from Nel. Thanks to you too! They are adorable. I colored them of course with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

face: 170-190-620
hair: 600-630
clothes: 580-590-340-330
roses: 100-130-480
air: 360
wall: 610 (by the way, I draw this one)

I made a pocket with a tag for some words to the happy couple. And some romantic candles to enjoy.

Here you can see that it is just like a book. A very precise job, but such a nice detail!

And of course the back of the book.

This was a very nice item to make and not too difficult, thanks (again) to Tina's tutorial.

My uncle and aunt were very pleased with their present. Let me know what you think, OK?!
Love to hear from you!!

Eplet faller ikke langt fra stammen

On the blog from Scrappekammeret can you find a very different challenge. You have to create something after the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". Because my husband is a passionate reader and his parrents too (his mother was a librarian) I made him a bookmark. Of course it became a tree with a little apple! To make it a little bit stronger I laminated it. Last sunday I gave it to him as a extra birthdaypresent. Of course it is already in his book!!

I forgot to mention that I cut this nice tree and apple with my silhouette.

A starbook

In september last year I made a starbook for an unkle and aunt from my husband. Our whole kitchentable was full of scrappingstuff!

Because we couldn't go to their fortieth wedding anniversary, I wanted to make them something special that I could send in the mail. And this starbook was perfect for that.

The front and back of the book were little bit simular with the beautiful textstamp and little stamps around it.

I made 7 pages in the book.

With of course a picture of them from there wedding 40 years ago.

I think a starbook is beautiful in so many angles. And to see the star from above, yeah, really nice!

Of course the book needed a nice wrap. So I decorated a paperbag...

... and made a little card to go with it.

My in-laws were at the weddingparty and gave this gift from us. We heared the bride and groom were very happy to get this starbook. And it was a pleasure to make such a book.

Moederdag - Mothersday

Duimen dus!

Last sunday was mothersday her in Norway. My 3 little girls gave me the most "delicious" scrapstuff. But because I have a mother too, I've been creative for her. I made her a needlebook. I saw an exemple in the Cards Only and I combined this with a little teabook I saw one time on a scrappingevening (and luckily made a picture of it!). With this needlebook I'm in the challenge at Scrappekammeret. So keep your fingers crossed!

I decorated the front with a tag with the title of the book, a bearssticker and some nice flowers.

Nog een leuke charm aan de tag.

With a nice charm on the tag.

On the first page I wrote a little poem, which explains the meaning of this book.

The book contains 2 felt "pages", where my mother can stick her embroidery needles.

The little book also has 2 pockets, where I put some teabags.

The needlebook closes with a magnet. And with my stamp on the back the book was finished. My mom was very happy with her needlebook. Now she can enjoy her tea, embroider some and afterwards put her needle safely away!
