Happy birthday to you!

Hi everyone!

I have made a card again. And I want to show it to you all. 

Using a sketch from Friday Sketchers, this card is participating in their challenge. 

I made this card with bits and pieces designpaper. And I used a digistamp from Wee Stamps. 

This is Sweet Blossom, isn't she cute?!

On a lot of blogs and forums you see beautiful "flowerarrangements" made from all different kinds of flowers. I tried to make such a arrangement. It makes the card a little bit more exciting, don't you think?

My dear friend Linda showed me how to decorate a circle with lace. 

I tried it here and it is a fun effect, right?!

Baby carriage, a card and a tractor!!

When I saw this baby carriage quit a while ago on Maya's blog, I printed out the tutorial. Then my dear friend Heidi became pregnant of her darling baby boy. And when he came into this world, I made her this baby carriage as a gift. 

With the help of my darling husband I cut every piece out with my Silhouette. That way I could make it a little bit bigger, besides I didn't have the Spellbinders dies, Maya used. Under the "blanket" I put some adorable socks for the baby. 

Of course there was enough paper left for a nice card. 

This beautiful flower was also cut out with my Silhouette. I just love it! I sprayed the seperate layers with some water to wrinkle them to put some life into it. I inked the edges and put it together.

I stamped "newborn" with seperate letters and punched out 2 butterflies.

My husband made this cute tractor out of wood for the little boy. By the way if you want one, just let me know. He can also make a trailor wagon to go with it. He is so very talented, my hubbie!

"Happy birthday" at Derwents!

Hi friends!

 it's been a while since I posted something here. My daughter was in the hospital and I was not so very motivated to create. But she is doing much better now, is home with us and full of energy again. So my mojo is gradually coming back again! 

And that's a good thing, because we have a new challenge over at the Derwentblog. Annemiek has made a sketch for us to work with. Thanks Annemiek!

To decorate my card I used some dies from Marianne design.

I furthermore stamped a piece of white cardstock with blue bobbles and a nice sentiment. The little flowers and butterflies were coloured in with my spica markers.
