Joy to the world... challenge # 8 at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}

Hi everybody!

It's been 2 weeks again, I was so busy, with my girls and working in and around the house. But I'm hoping to be more active here again, because I did make some nice things during our vacation. 

But... it's Wednesday and a new challenge is here at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. Linda made the sketch and it was a really nice one to work with. Take a look at all the gorgeous cards the DT made. 

The sentiment I used was a gift, it's from Melissa Frances, Vintage Transfers.

The snowflakes I punched with my MS punch. and in the middle I placed some little ones with a drop of perlen pen.

I coloured Heidi with ornament with my Derwent colorsoft pencils:

Christmas Challenges {with sketches}....a new one!

Hi everyone!

I'm back from my vacation and just in time for the next challenge on Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. Well almost in time, because this morning already, the sketch by Janneke was shown on the blog. 

And this is my card to you all.

I used a few buttons as decoration.

This adorable Tilda was coloured in with my Derwent colorsoft pencils: 

skin: 170-190

hair: 010-570

dress: 110-130

wings and hallow: 490-400

For the circle in the sketch I took a paper doily and because it was really white, I inked it up with a little distress ink.

Hi everybody!

In less than 5 months it's Christmas again. And although we are in the height of summer, time flies and before you know it, we need those Christmas cards again. So join us and visit the challengeblog over at Christmas Challenge {with sketches}. This card I made with the beautiful sketch from Claire.

I punched some snowcrystals with my MS punch and added a pearl in the heart.

I used my few Copics again for Tilda:

shirt and socks: R22/R27/R29/R85/C0

As you could see earlier I used some vellum as a mat. From the bits, I punched two snowcrystals and put them in the circles. Here too I added a pearl.

I stamped a sentiment with white ink, but I wrote over it with a white gelpen. I always strugle with this, as the white ink is not clearly enough so if anyone has a tip...
