Winter

Begin december werd een wedstrijd uitgeschreven op http://www.hobbyjournaal.nl/ Het thema was winter. Aangezien we er hier midden in zaten, was ik eigenlijk meteen gemotiveerd om mee te doen. Ik had al prachtige foto's van de omgeving hier en daar ben ik dan ook mee aan de slag gegaan. Voor de basis heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de Double flap card van Dawn, die ik gevonden heb op youtube. De maten heb ik een beetje aangepast aan mijn foto.

At the beginning of december there was a challenge at http://www.hobbyjournaal.nl/ with a wintertheme. Because it was very much winter here in Norway, I was motivated right away. There were already beautiful pictures on my camera of the neighbourhood. So I could work with those for my wintercard. For the base I used the Double flap card from Dawn, which I found on youtube. I had to ajust the messuraments to my photo.

Blauw en wit zijn prachtige winterkleuren. In het blauw van het cardstock zit een heel klein glittertje. Het designpapier is van Basic Grey. Het wit met blauwe stipjes heet Flurry en het blauw met de witte stipjes is Snowfall Polar Blue.

Blue and white are beautiful wintercolours. In the blue cardstock you can see a very tiny glitter. The designpaper is Basic Grey. The white with blue dots is called Flurry and the blue with the white dots is Snowfall Polar Blue.

Natuurlijk heb ik ook gestempeld. De swirls zijn van Autumn Leaves, Flourishes V. De lijntjes is Hand drawn journaling panels, ook van Autumn Leaves.

Of course I stamped. The swirls are from Autumn Leaves, Flourishes V. The lines to write on is Hans drawn jounaling panels, also from Autumn Leaves.

De stempel Winter is van Ready2Stamp. Alle onderdelen heb ik nog aangezet met bruine inkt. Het geheel is afgemaakt met 4 kleine brads.

Er waren meer dan 40 kaarten ingezonden. Mijn kaartje is 21e geworden. Een mooie plaats, nietwaar?!
More than 40 cards were in the contest. Mine became 21st. A beautiful spot, isn't it?!

En sjuende sans

Omdat ik voor 2009 geen leuke agenda kon vinden, heb ik er zelf ééntje gemaakt. En omdat we hier in Noorwegen wonen, heb ik 'm natuurlijk een Noorse naam gegeven. Zoals de noren zeggen: je zevende zintuig.

Because I couldn't find a nice agenda for 2009, I made one myself. And because we live here in Norway, I gave it a norwegian name. As the Norwegians say: your seventh sence.

Het boek zelf heb ik gekocht bij boekwinkel Notabene. Voor de titel heb ik gebruik gemaakt van mijn moeders cricut. Ik vind de bedelachtige letters erg leuk. En een bijpassend lint om ze aan te rijgen, maakt het plaatje compleet.

I bought the book itself at the bookstore Notabene. For the title I made use of my mothers cricut. I very much like the charm-like letters. A nice ribbon made it complete.

De bladzijden waren blanco. Deze heb ik beplakt met dubbelzijdig papier van Panduro, Tilda papercraft. De weken heb ik gezet in een excelbestand en per bladzijde heb ik nu een week. Ik heb het uitgeprint op creme cardstock.

Of course the pages were blank. I covered these with doublesided designpaper from Panduro, Tilda Papercraft. I made an excelfile for the weeks and on each side I have now one week. I printed these on creme cardstock.

De namen van de maanden heb ik gestempeld met ready2stamp van siriushobby met de heerlijke zoete kleur versacolor raspberry. Om het een mooi effect te geven heb ik de stempels bewerkt met embossing powder clear van Ranger.
The names of the months I stamped with ready2stamp from Siriushobby using he sweet colour versacolor Raspberry. To give it a beautiful effect I embossed with embossing powder clear from Ranger.


Het is een mooi boek geworden, waar we als gezin veel plezier van zullen hebben.
It became a nice book, what we, as a family, can enjoy.

Fotochallenge...

Van Christina heb ik een hele leuke uitdaging gekregen: neem je zesde map met foto's van je computer, neem daaruit de zesde foto, plaats de foto op je blog en vertel er iets over. Nodig daarna 6 nieuwe vrienden uit hetzelfde te doen. Link de websites en laat ze weten dat ze worden uitgedaagd.

Mijn foto komt uit het zesde mapje van 2008, juni dus. Mijn twee jongste dochters zijn 's morgens vroeg, nog in pyjama, al druk aan het spelen met hun gereedschap en uiteraard beschermd door de helmpjes op hun hoofdjes. Een heerlijk schouwspel!

Christina gave me a challenge: take your sixth photomap on your computer, out of that the sixth photo, put that on your blog and tell something about it. Challenge then 6 new friends to do the same. Link to their websites and let them know you challenged them.

My photo is laying in the sixth map of 2008, june. Early in the morning, still in pyjamas, my two youngest daughters are playing with their tools. Of course they're wearing their helmets. Such a beautiful sight!

ABC...

Voor de kinderen heb ik een ABC-boekje gemaakt. Het model komt van CraftTVweekly.com, The Scrapbook Lounge (Make the Grade Book). Voor de inhoud heb ik gebruik gemaakt van het internet, het ABC in rijmvorm gevonden op een noorse internetsite en heb er veel bijbehorende plaatjes bij gezocht.

For my childeren I made an ABC-book. I found the model on CraftTVweekly.com, in The Scrapbook Lounge (Make the Grade Book). For the contents I used the internet, found the ABC in rhyme on a norwegian site and many pictures to go along with it.

Voor de buitenkant heb ik designpapier gebruikt van DCWV, The pocket full of Posies stack en bijpassend lichtoranje cardstock. Met chipboard letters heb ik de titel aangegeven.

For the outside of the book I used designpaper from DCWV, The pocket full of Posies stack and matching lightorange cardstock. The titel are chipboard letters.

Op de linkerkaft aan de binnenkant heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een Magnoliameisje zittend op een stapeltje boeken. Heel toepasselijk, nietwaar? De leuke swirl is van Megilo.

On the inside I placed a Magnoliagirl on a stack of books. Suitable, don't you think? The nice swirl is Megilo's.

Voor het alfabet heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de stempels van Limited Edition, Beloved Alphabet. En de regels heb ik gestempeld met Autumn Leaves, For the Record en Hand drawn Journaling panels.

The letters from the alphabet are stamps: Limited Edition, Beloved Alphabet. The lines are also stamps from Autumn Leaves, For the Record and Hand drawn Journaling panels.

Zoals ik al aangaf heb ik de plaatjes van het internet gehaald en gekeken dat het allemaal getekende plaatjes waren, om eenheid in het boekje te krijgen. En ik moet zeggen, dat viel niet altijd mee, maar het is gelukt!!

As I said, the pictures came from the internet. I liked them to be all drawn, the get some uniformity in the book. And it wasn't always easy, but I did it!!

Per bladzijde heb ik een kleurtje uitgekozen en daarmee de letter gestempeld en het randje van het plaatje aangezet.

On each page I choose a color to stamp the letter and color the sides of the pictures a little.




Als afsluiting van het boekje een Magnoliameisje (met dank aan Nel, een hobbymaatje) en wederom een leuke swirl van Megilo.
At the end of the book there is a Magnoliagirl again (thanks to Nel, a craftingbuddy) and the nice swirl of Megilo.

Het was heel wat werk, maar een leuk project. Ik hoop dat onze meisjes er veel plezier aan zullen beleven. Vertel jij ook, wat je ervan vindt? Laat een berichtje achter, dat zou ik erg leuk vinden!

Gift for my mother / Kadootje voor mijn moeder

Op de noorse site Sukkersött had Camilla een heel leuk tasje gezet, wat zij gemaakt had. Ik vond het een erg leuk kerstkadootje voor mijn moeder.

On the norwegian site Sukkersött I saw a very cute bag made by Camilla. I thought it would make a nice Christmaspresent for my mother.

Qua maten heb ik het tasje een beetje aangepast, iets platter en iets hoger. Het dubbelzijdig designpapier is van Crate paper, de cowboy collection sheriff.

Regarding the measurements I adjusted the bag a little. I made it somewhat flatter and higher. The doublesided designpaper is from Crate paper, the cowboy collection sheriff.

De stempels, de tag en het meisje, aan de voorkant zijn van Magnolia.

Ik heb dit tasje gevuld met stempelsafdrukjes van de Santa collectie 2008 van Magnolia. De stempels had ik gewonnen door met de blogcandy van mee te doen. Daardoor kreeg ik helemaal gratis en voor niks 19 stempels van de Santa collection 2008!!

Op de achterkant staat een mooie tekst van Kreativ Hobby (KH) Design. Het geheel is afgewerkt met een bijpassend lintje waar je het tasje mee dicht kunt doen. Nu kan mijn moeder dus ook al aan de slag met de kerstkaarten voor 2009.
On the back I stamped the beautiful text of Kreativ Hobby (KH) Design. A matching ribbon is placed to close the bag. Now my mother can already make her Christmascard for 2009.

A last Christmas card

Mijn laatste kerstkaartje wil ik je niet onthouden. Het is de workshopkaart uit de Cards Only nummer 4. Om te beginnen heb ik rood cardstock gebruikt en het mooie designpapier van Basic Grey, fruitcake.

Here is my last christmascard. It is the workshopcard from the dutch magazine Cards Only nr. 4. I started with red cardstock and the beautiful designpaper from Basic Grey, fruitcake.

De leuke stempels zijn van Panduro, welke ik heb ingekleurd met m'n aquarelpotloden en waterpen. Het lint met de tekst Merry Christmas en Happy Holidays zijn van Making Memories.

The cute stamps are Panduros. I coulored them with my aquarelpencils and waterpencil. The ribbon with the words Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays are from Making Memories.

De tekst heb ik geprint met de computer en de prachtige swirl is van Autumn Leaves, Flourishes.

CD-kaartje / CD-card

Krijgt m'n moeder de nieuwe Cards Only (nr. 5) binnen vorige week en wat schetst mijn verbazing, "mijn" CD-kaartje staat erin!! Wat leuk om te zien, hoe met ander papier en een andere vormgeving ook, de kaart er weer heel anders uitziet.

Last week my mother got the new edition of the dutch magazine Cards Only. And what do I see in it, "my" CD-card I made for Christmas!! It's nice to see how, with different paper you get a hole different card.
