*Hello*

Hi!

Today the new challenge was brought out at the Derwent-blog. We want you to do paper piecing with some coloring with your Derwent colorsoft pencils. And that is a lot of fun, I can tell you that much!
Because I wanted to try to make a shaker card, I thought this was the opportunity to do so.

As shaking material I used some beads, I got from my mother.

The sentiment was made with my Silhouette, the print and cut option.

This little baby was dressed by stamping its clothes on designpapers, which were cut out and glued on the main stamp. For the remaining parts I used my Derwent colorsoft pencils:

skin: 170-190-620
giraffe: 580-590-600
shoes and pompons: 190-200

From my papers I used the left over bits and pieces to decorate the back of my card. O, by the way, the designpapers are from DCWV, the sweet stack with glitter.

Here you can actually see the beads "go round".

Well if you're in a "dressing" mood, come over and pay a visit to the Derwent-blog. There you can see the other team-members creations. Join in the fun!

Bye, bye...

Liefs

Hi everybody!

I have made a new card for the Derwent-challengeblog. This time you need to make a summerly card for us. Well, this is my version of summer.

Red, white and yellow flowers from my stash and I cut the leaves with my Silhouette out of kraftpaper. Then I painted them green in 2 layers, a lightgreen and a darkergreen.

On the top I added a butterfly, also cut out with my Sil. To highlight it some more I covered it with glossy accent.

-
This Hänglar-Stänglar girl was of course colored with my Derwent colorsoft pencils:

skin: 170-190-620
hair: 550-620-610
clothes: 010-400-040-130
shoes: 400-610
plant trough with the plants: 490-490-400-130

The back of the card was lightly decoraded with a piece of designpaper from DCWV, one branche of leaves and of course my personal stamp.

I hope you hop on over to the Derwent-challengeblog and let yourself get inspired by all the beautiful creations of my DT-colleagues. And of course join in on the fun!!

Pia og pus.... going vintage......

Hi everybody!

It's been two weeks since the last challenge at the Derwent-blog, so here is the next for you Derwent fans.
The challenge is going vintage. You are supposed to make an card or project in vintagestyle. Not really my thing, but so much more a challenge. I made this card for you to be inspired by. I was inspired for the lay-out of my card by Camilla. Go check her out, she makes beautiful cards!

Made a little bouquet with different kinds of flowers.

Here you can see my sewing by hand, yes! I found a great tutorial at Marga's blog. Thanks Marga! I used some pearls, lace and an page from an old book I once bought in a secondhand bookstore.

The stamp is called Pia og pus and is from Kort og Godt Hobby. I colored them of course with my Derwent coloursoft pencils and used the following ones:

skin: 170
hair: 570
dress: 200-150
cat: 560
outline: 720

And here is the back of the card, with my personal stamp.

I hope you will join us at the Derwent-blog. And visit my DT-colleagues, I know you get some inspiration there as well.

See you next time!

Happy Easter

Hi all!

The next challenge is announced at the Derwent-blog. And it has everything to do with easter. Make an easterproject or card and colour the stamps in with your coloursoft pencils.

This is the card I made. It's a rather simple one, but the stamp I used was quit big, so it didn't need so much more, to my opion. I embossed the red cardstock, used a designpaper from Marianne Design and a piece of ribbon from my stash.

The pencils I used to colour this stamp:

060, 090, 650, 030, 430, 120, 410, 520, 320, 530, 100, 300, 550, 560, 340, 490

I hope you all enjoy the Easther-days. And if you have the time, please join us at Derwents.

See you next time!!

The sentiment is a freebie from Meljen's Designs.

A little flowerarrangement....

"Happy birthday" at Derwents!

Hi friends!
it's been a while since I posted something here. My daughter was in the hospital and I was not so very motivated to create. But she is doing much better now, is home with us and full of energy again. So my mojo is gradually coming back again!

And that's a good thing, because we have a new challenge over at the Derwentblog. Annemiek has made a sketch for us to work with. Thanks Annemiek!

To decorate my card I used some dies from Marianne design.

I furthermore stamped a piece of white cardstock with blue bobbles and a nice sentiment. The little flowers and butterflies were coloured in with my spica markers.

The pencils I used to colour this lovely scene created with my Ollyfant-stamps:

skinn: 170-190-620
hair: 530-640
dress and hat: 130-300
underpants: 360
goose: 710-540
sand: 580
starfish: 590
frame: 450

So if you too colour with Derwent softcolour pencils, join us (again) with this sketch-challenge and you can win a beautiful stamp from Magnolia and being a guest designer for the next challenge.
I hope to see you there!

Some details, I used two buttons and a little bit of twine.

And here I roughly painted a chipboard anchor blue with my paintdabber.

The coloursoft pencils I used:

hair: 590-600
blouse: 440
sweater and shoes: 480

truck: 360-080-090-590

The sentiment I found on Create with TLC

Hugs!

At the Derwent-challengeblog there is a new one and this time it has everything to do with Valentine. Everyone has someone in his or her life you want to thank for being there, so make a card and join us.

I made this one for a special friend. She is a very generous person and she deserves this card and the hugs that go with it. I also send her some scrappinggoodies. I hope you already recieved the little package, Nel.

No need to say that I coloured this beauty with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

face: 170-190-620
hair: 520
flowerstems: 400
dress: 180
cardigan, bows, shoes: 130
flowers: 100

A little sentiment on a little heart.

I found this nice little dragonfly in my stash and thought it was perfect for this card.

When my card was ready I finished it with loooots of glimmermist. Can you see it?

I hope I inspired you to join in on the fun on the Derwent-challengeblog. And if you need more, visit my colleagues in the design team. You can find their blog in the sidebar.

Hope to see you soon again!
Happy Valentine.
